According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP had a total area of 1.062 square miles (2.751 km), including 1.040 square miles (2.695 km) of land and 0.022 square miles (0.056 km) of water (2.04%).
It is home to the unusual Cookie Jar House, constructed in the 1940s and described as “One of N.J.’s oddest homes”.
