The CDP consists of the eastern portion of the town, adjacent to the Connecticut River. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 25.8 km (9.9 mi). 24.7 km (9.5 mi) of it is land and 1.1 km (0.4 mi) of it (4.22%) is water.
