Geography

Haughton is located 15 miles (24 km) east of Bossier City and 17 miles (27 km) east of Shreveport. Interstate 20 touches the northwestern corner of the town, with access from Exit 33 (Elm Street).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 5.3 square miles (13.6 km), all land.
