Geography
Lochmoor Waterway Estates is located in central Lee County at 26°38′46″N 81°54′47″W / 26.64611°N 81.91306°W / 26.64611; -81.91306 (26.646110, -81.912958), on the west side of the tidal Caloosahatchee River, across from Fort Myers, the county seat. It is bordered to the south and west by the city of Cape Coral and to the north by unincorporated North Fort Myers.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.0 square miles (7.8 km), of which 2.2 square miles (5.7 km) are land and 0.81 square miles (2.1 km), or 26.61%, are water.
