According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.08 square miles (0.21 km), all land. The southeast border is along the municipal limits of Brooklyn; the remainder of Linndale is surrounded by Cleveland, specifically the neighborhoods of West Boulevard, Jefferson, and Bellaire–Puritas.
