Geography

Crystal Lakes is located in southwestern Clark County in the southwestern part of Bethel Township. It is bordered on the west by the unincorporated community of Park Layne. Springfield is 13 miles (21 km) to the northeast, and Dayton is 15 miles (24 km) to the southwest.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.51 square miles (1.31 km), of which 0.47 square miles (1.23 km) is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 km), or 6.21%, is water.
