Marked Tree is a city in Poinsett County, Arkansas, United States, along the St. Francis River, at the mouth of the Little River. The population was 2,566 at the 2010 census. It is included in the Jonesboro, Arkansas, metropolitan statistical area.
Geologically, the area marks the southern end of the New Madrid Fault.

Geography
Marked Tree is located on the St. Francis River at the intersection of US Route 63 and Arkansas Highways 140, 149, and 308. The south end of the Marked Tree Floodway lies just west of the city.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.3 square miles (6.0 km), of which 2.3 square miles (6.0 km) are land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km) (0.85%) is covered by water.
