Geography

Grimes is located in southeastern Dale County at 31°18′8″N 85°27′4″W / 31.30222°N 85.45111°W / 31.30222; -85.45111 (31.302270, -85.451042). It is partially bordered to the north, south, east, and west by the city of Dothan, and also to the north by the town of Napier Field. Grimes is 7.5 miles (12.1 km) northwest of the center of Dothan.
