Locustdale is located on the border of Columbia and Schuylkill counties at 40°46′43″N 76°22′37″W / 40.77861°N 76.37694°W / 40.77861; -76.37694 (40.778664, -76.376913). It is 1 mile (1.6 km) west of the borough of Ashland.
