History

Pascola was platted in 1894 when the railroad was extended to that point. It is unclear why the name “Pascola” was applied to this community. The Pascola post office closed in 1992.

Geography

Pascola lies northwest of Hayti at the intersection of State Route B and County State Route K. The former road connects Pascola to Homestown and Wardell to the north and U.S. Route 412 to the south, and the latter connects the village with Bragg City to the west.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.16 square miles (0.41 km), all land.
