History

A post office called Raymondville has been in operation since 1871. The community was named after Raymond, Maine, the native home of a first settler.

Geography

Raymondville is located in the Ozarks of southern Missouri. The town is in central Texas County on Missouri routes 137 and B, approximately six miles east of Houston. Yukon is about five miles south and Licking is about ten miles north on route 137.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.95 square miles (7.64 km), all land.
