Geography

Cajah’s Mountain is located in southern Caldwell County at 35°51′0″N 81°32′19″W / 35.85000°N 81.53861°W / 35.85000; -81.53861 (35.850057, -81.538718). It is bordered to the north by Lenoir, the county seat. Cajah Mountain, elevation 1,530 feet (470 m), is a hill at the southern end of town next to Connelly Springs Road, the major north–south road through the town.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.4 square miles (8.8 km), all land.
