Geography

South Toledo Bend is located at 31°9′24″N 93°36′27″W / 31.15667°N 93.60750°W / 31.15667; -93.60750 (31.156779, -93.607466). According to the United States Census Bureau in 2000, the CDP has a total area of 21.2 square miles (55 km), of which, 18.5 square miles (48 km) of it is land and 2.7 square miles (7.0 km) of it (12.85%) is water. The CDP lost area prior to the 2010 census. The new total area is 5.7 square miles (15 km), of which, 3.2 square miles (8.3 km) of it is land and 2.5 square miles (6.5 km) is water.
