Geography

Tierra Bonita is located in northwestern Cameron County at 26°16′2″N 97°49′23″W / 26.26722°N 97.82306°W / 26.26722; -97.82306 (26.267226, -97.823184), on the northern border of the town of Santa Rosa. It is 12 miles (19 km) northwest of the center of Harlingen.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.91 square miles (2.35 km), all of it land.
