Geography

Highland Haven is located in southwestern Burnet County at 30°36′25″N 98°23′43″W / 30.607012°N 98.395284°W / 30.607012; -98.395284, along the eastern shore of Lake Lyndon B. Johnson. It is about 18 miles (29 km) southwest of Burnet, the county seat, and 57 miles (92 km) northwest of downtown Austin.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.54 square miles (1.4 km), of which 0.42 square miles (1.1 km) is land and 0.12 square miles (0.3 km), or 19.60%, is water.
